A portrait of my grandson, Ronan, when he was very little. I painted this in acrylic paints quite a long time ago now. I was happen enough with how it came out based on my abilities at the time. It has some the “uncanny valley” effect to it, which makes it not a great painting to have around on display.

I have to try another portrait of him that’s more recent, possibly in oils. My human rendering skills have never been that good, and this work shows that.
